3. Make your audience the star

Another great way to connect with your audience is to take the focus off of you, and featuring them instead. Showcase cool things they’re doing. Share relevant photos, videos, and other information about them.

Not only does it allow you to shout out your audience, but it gives them a buzz by getting highlighted by someone they follow. It’s also a great incentive for them to share with their friends and followers.

Choose an activity that’s easy to rally your audience around. Then invite them to share their stories with you, either through photos, videos, or even through the written word.

Be sure to clearly explain the rules, and how you’ll use the information along the way.
